You pay for the space your waste takes up in the van. Labour, loading, sweep-up and licensed disposal are all included — the price we confirm before the job is the price on the invoice.

Guide prices for typical household waste within our Oxford core area, including labour and disposal. Heavy materials (soil, rubble, tiles) are priced by weight allowance instead — roughly 20–25 rubble sacks per quarter load. A small number of items carry disposal surcharges set by the facilities we use: fridges and freezers, mattresses and POPs upholstered seating. We confirm any surcharge in the written quote, never on the doorstep.
What affects the price
- Volume — the main driver. Photos let us quote it accurately in advance.
- Weight — only matters for inert materials like soil and rubble.
- Access — a third-floor walk-up or a long carry adds crew time; we ask up front so it's in the fixed price.
- Surcharged items — fridges, mattresses and POPs sofas cost more to process, so they add a fixed per-item amount.
How booking works
- Send photos and your postcode via the quote form or WhatsApp, or just describe the waste on the phone.
- Get a fixed price — usually within the hour in working time. The quote states load size, any weight allowance and any surcharges.
- Choose a slot — two-hour arrival windows, 7am–7pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday mornings. Same-day is often available before midday.
- We clear, you confirm — the crew confirms the load size with you before starting if it differs from the photos. Payment by card, transfer or cash on completion; waste transfer note by email.
Why volume beats guesswork
Skip pricing charges you the same whether the skip leaves full or half-empty. Volume pricing only charges for what actually goes in the van — which is why part-loads are where a collection service clearly wins. Pricing FAQs
Is disposal included in the price?
Yes — every price includes loading labour, transport and the disposal or recycling fees charged at licensed facilities. The only additions are pre-agreed surcharges for items facilities charge extra to process (fridges, mattresses, POPs sofas) and weight overages on inert material, both stated in your written quote before we book the job.
How accurate are photo quotes?
Photo quotes are accurate for the overwhelming majority of jobs — waste volume is easier to judge from a picture than most people expect. If the pile turns out bigger on arrival, we re-confirm the price with you before loading a single bag; if it's smaller, you're charged the smaller load size. Nobody gets surprised on the doorstep.
Do you charge extra for stairs or difficult access?
Standard access — ground floor, first floor, normal carry to the van — is built into every price. A genuinely long or awkward carry (a third-floor walk-up, a garden only reachable through the house, parking 100m away) adds crew time, so we price it into the fixed quote when you tell us. That's why the quote form asks about access.
When and how do I pay?
Payment is on completion, once you've seen the cleared space — by card, bank transfer or cash, whichever suits. Trade and landlord accounts can move to consolidated monthly invoicing after the first couple of jobs. We never ask for payment up front for standard domestic collections.
